Acupuncture
Acupuncture is the insertion of small, sterile needles into various areas of the body, in order to relieve pain, reduce stress, and restore balance. It increases blood flow, encourages the production of natural painkillers (endorphins) and immune cells, and brings the body into parasympathetic mode. It can treat a wide variety of ailments, from musculoskeletal pain, to insomnia, to digestive and hormonal disorders.
Chiropractic
Chiropractic is a healthcare profession that focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, particularly those affecting the spine. Chiropractors use a hands-on approach to manipulate and adjust the spine and other joints in the body to improve alignment, reduce pain, and promote healing.
Chiropractic care is based on the idea that the body has an innate ability to heal itself, and that this process can be facilitated by removing interference with the nervous system, which controls and coordinates all bodily functions. Chiropractors understand that misalignments in the spine can disrupt the nervous system and contribute to a wide range of health problems. Chiropractors may also use diagnostic imaging, such as X-rays or MRI scans, to help diagnose and plan treatment.
Chiropractic is considered safe and effective for most patients, although there are some risks associated with certain types of adjustments. As with any medical treatment, it is important to discuss the potential benefits and risks of chiropractic care before beginning treatment.

Dietetics
A nutritional assessment is a process of evaluating an individual's dietary intake, nutritional status, and related factors to identify potential nutrient deficiencies or excesses, and to develop appropriate dietary recommendations.
The process typically involves several steps, including:
- Collecting information about the individual's medical history, lifestyle, and dietary habits through interviews, questionnaires, or other methods.
- Measuring physical characteristics such as height, weight, and body composition to determine the individual's nutritional status.
- Analyzing blood and urine samples to assess nutrient levels and detect any nutrient deficiencies or excesses.
- Evaluating the individual's dietary intake using tools such as food diaries, recalls, or frequency questionnaires.
- Interpreting the collected data and identifying areas of concern that may require dietary intervention.
- Developing and implementing a personalized dietary plan that takes into account the individual's nutritional needs, preferences, and goals.
A nutritional assessment can be performed by a variety of healthcare professionals, including registered dietitians, nutritionists, physicians, and nurses. It can be used to evaluate individuals of all ages, from infants to older adults, and can be particularly helpful for those with specific medical conditions or dietary restrictions.
Kinesiology / Athletic Therapy
Certified Athletic Therapists (CAT) are skilled healthcare professionals that specialize in providing care for orthopaedic injuries, whether acute or chronic. Furthermore, CAT’s are experts at injury assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, reconditioning, and prevention.
Athletic Therapy treatments are based on the Sport Medicine Model, an rehabilitation approach with an objective to find and treat the cause of conditions and not just the symptoms. This method also encourages the patient to follow an active approach to rehabilitating an injury or condition, rather than a passive, therapist-dependent approach with reliance on modalities. This leads to faster recovery, decreases risk of re-injury, and reinforces treatment outcomes.
Certified Athletic Therapists also are first responders, providing sideline emergency care for sports organizations
